Internal Marketing – Keeping the Club in the Loop
Internal marketing is becoming very important in the not-for-profit world. Internal marketing is informing club members of club activities / information in a timely manner.
This could include : upcoming events, meetings, planning sessions, zone / district / national events etc. There is nothing more frustrating than finding out what is going on in the club at the last minute or not knowing at all. Not knowing leads to low club moral, higher than normal absenteeism, and members quitting.
This is truer with new members. They are not part of the grapevine, nor do they have access to this information. Information can be distributed via a short weekly email or even as a text message.
