President Jordan Blake of the   Kinsmen Club of Botwood presented the Exploits Search and Rescue Unit $5000 to help with the cost for a new mobile command unit. When called upon, the command centre is the hub of all search operations and provides space for family members, RCMP, searchers, radio operations, meals as well as GPS tracking of searchers. It is generally the first vehicle to arrive and the last to leave . It is the most important vehicle in the fleet.
