New Glasgow Kinsmen Donate $10,000 to Summer Street Industries

Summer Street receives $10,000 donation from Kinsmen Club of New Glasgow.

Allan MacQuarrie, New Glasgow Kinsmen TV Bingo Chairman, made the presentation to Michael Corkum, President of Summer Street Foundation.

“The Kin motto is Serving the Community’s Greatest Need” said MacQuarrie. “The partnership with Summer Street reflects our commitment to our community. With the help of our players and EastLink TV, we are pleased to be able to continue to support this creative organization.”

“We are very fortunate to have the support of the Kinsmen” said Corkum “together we are creating new opportunities for our clients.”

New Glasgow Kinsmen are well known for their positive support of and contribution to a variety of causes throughout Pictou County. As long-standing supporters of Summer Street, members have made many important donations in support of capital campaigns and programs over the years.

Summer Street is a person centered organization that creates opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities.
