The Kinsmen Club of Botwood nominated Terry Hancock for volunteer of the year for the Town of Botwood.  Here he is receiving his award from Mayor Scott Sceviour.

Terry is an example of unselfish giving back to his community that he loves so dearly. For well over twenty five years he has been a member of the Kinsmen Club of Botwood. He has served on the executive of the Botwood Kinsmen Club. He has been President, first vice, and director for many years. He has served on the Zone and District level, he has served on the house committee. He has held almost all the positions on the executive and has spear headed many, many projects. Such has our CF and MS drives, our moose-burger sales, tickets sales for all types of projects. He has been Kinsmen of the year twice.
