From National – National Projects Coordinator
FROM THE DESK OF GRANT FERRON…
Christine Stahl – National Projects Coordinator
I am excited to announce that Christine Stahl will be joining our Headquarters Team as the National Projects Coordinator. She will start on Monday October 2, 2017. Christine is a project developer with a Master of Social Work degree focused on Community, Policy, Planning and Organizations from Wilfrid Laurier University.
After completing her degree, she worked for Opportunities Waterloo Region where she developed and coordinated an
initiative to increase awareness and access to an education grant for low-income families. She was also involved in
projects to evaluate and create free tax clinics, build accessible gardens and support an advocacy group. Since
then, she has worked with homeless youth and has managed volunteers for a local neighbourhood association.
Christine lives in New Hamburg with her husband and one-year-old son. She is actively involved in her community where she volunteers as the coordinator of a community garden and as a board member of the Wilmot Family Resource Centre. She is
passionate about community development and is excited to join Kin Canada in its mission to enrich Canadian communities.
Please join me in extending a warm welcome and congratulations to Christine for her
new role. Her contact information will be forthcoming soon.
