Recently The Kin Club of Haliax presented a cheque to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Halifax from the proceeds of our sixth annual charity golf tournament.  Making the presentation to CEO Henk Van Leeuwen and youth from one of the local clubs is Tournament Chair LM Brian Hastings. This year’s event raised $15,435.00 which will be divided among the 7 locations to help fund a number of programming needs including breakfast programs, off site trips to local attractions and after school programs. Over the six year history the Halifax Kin Club has proudly donated in excess of $100,000.00 to our local Boys and Girls Clubs. This year the tournament was held on the Tuesday prior to National Convention with NP Terri MacCannell showing off her expertise on the links.
