District 7 FLC 2021-2022 Update
Fellow Kin – The past 16 months have been difficult on us Kin, not being able to do what we do best, serve our Communities and have a wee bit of fun – ok a lot of fun – doing it. With the Atlantic provinces starting to open their borders, and restrictions starting to ease, citizens getting double vaccinated and not to forget the outstanding job all Atlantic Canadians have put forth to control the virus. It gives me great pleasure, as the Fall Leadership Co-Chair this year, to inform you that the Kinsmen / Kinette Clubs of Sackville are planning a Face to Face FLC this year.
The hotels and Food Venders have finally started to commit and book venues for future events. Here are the details we have so far:
Dates: Friday Oct 22nd – Sat Oct 23rd
Location: Holiday In Express & Suites Halifax – Bedford, 980 Parkland Drive – Phone: 902-444-6700. Let them know you are with Kin Club, and you can now book your room.
Room Rates: $115.00 plus tax with Breakfast included. We have secured 75 rooms, the hotel will guarantee these rooms until Sept 25th for booking at this rate.
Numbers: it is important to note, that due to hotel restrictions, we only have room for 150 members to attend in person. Get your room booked early.
We are still working on details of registration cost, and other logistical details, etc. This info will be coming out shortly. These are still dependent on provincial restrictions but we are confident we can hold an enlightening, educational, entertaining conference safely and at a reasonable cost to the membership.
