Fellow Kin, As Hurricane Lee makes his way through District 7, please know that each member has the support of the association behind them.Regions of Nova Scotia has experienced record rainfalls over the past year, that has resulted in damages, both physical and economic… and here we are experiencing it yet again and “Lee” is leaving a mark on all Atlantic Provinces. When the storm has subsided, for those impacted, please know that you have “family” to help pick up the pieces. Stay Safe Everyone Yours in Kin, VickiActing Governor… of the greatest District EVER! #d7proud ... See MoreSee Less

Kin Canada Atlantic - District 7
Good Afternoon Fellow Kin, Firstly, I want to thank everyone for the messages! Your support to me and your commitment to D7 means the world! The decision to step into the role of Governor, albeit quick, was not taken without thought. I’ve had a desire to run a second time for a while, so when the call came in, it was an easy decision for me. I’m sure there are some questions… so let me get out in front of a couple of them … 1. First order of business will be to get the final details out to the membership regarding Fall Leadership. The council is meeting Sunday/tomorrow. It’s top of the agenda. Details will be circulated next week. 2. I’m going to continue forward in my role as Deputy Governor for Zone A as well as President of my Club. I made a commitment and I intend to keep it. Grateful for everyone’s support. I need to play catch up a little. I’m lucky that I was already in the DEC Council as DG, so I wouldn’t say I’m too far behind, but please be patient over the next week or two while I get up to speed. Thanks again… I’m really pumped for the Kin Year ahead! In the words of National Service Director Sheila Laverty… You’re Simple The Best! Yours in Kin, VickiActing Governor, District 7#D7Proud ... See MoreSee Less

As the last few hours of the 2022 - 2023 Kin Year end approaches, I want to congratulate and thank Governor Mary, the rest of the District Executive, the Deputy Governors, the Zone and Club Executives and all club members for all your hard work and dedication to improving your communities and serving your community's greastest need. It was a year to reKINdle Kin Canada Atlantic after the last few years, and I think we succeeded. We were able to meet face to face at FLC and District, had in person participants in the Speak Off and celebrated our accomplishments and the year.Congratulations to all our award winners and good luck to our members and clubs competing in awards at National Kinvention in Leduc in August 2023.As we are hours away from the start of the 2023 - 2024 Kin year, I wish Incoming Governor Terry, his team, the incoming club executives and all members of D7 a successfull and great year!Yours in Kin,District Communication Officer 2022 - 2023PeggyOn behalf ...
