Good Day Fellow Kin,One of the goals your District Team has this year is - Develop a plan and create a learning environment where D7 will be inspired to lead.While looking at this goal during our onboarding in Jun, two things quickly came to light:1. We needed information from our membership to determine why they are not volunteering for leadership positions and what areas we need to concentrate on in creating a learning environment; and2. This would be a multi-year effort.In order to get the info we needed, a survey was created.This is an anonymous survey with 10 - 13 questions depending on how you answer the questions. It only takes a few moments to answer the survey and we ask that as many members of D7 fill out the survey so that we get a significant amount of info that will allow us to develop a great learning plan moving forwardFor those who have not completed the survey, please do so. The season of giving continues for our group of volunteers, and "Serving the Community's Greatest Needs" is what we enjoy doing. Today, we dropped by the Gingerbread house located in the lower level of the Valley Mall and dropped off a few teenager friendly gifts that the Salvation Army will distribute to some families that may need a little extra help this holiday season, If you would like to donate to the Salvation Army Gingerbread house, you have a few days left to purchase a gift and just drop it inside the house in the mall.
