Fellow Kin,

My name is Bill McFadden. I am a member of the Kinsmen Club of Sackville (NS) and am beginning my 10th year in Kin. I am married to a wonderful woman – Betty Lou and we have a lovely daughter – Tyra.

I have held a number of positions within my club as well as DG Zone B, District Club Support and Communications Directors as well as Governor of District 7 in 2021 – 2022. I have won a number of awards at the zone and district level but the highlight was representing District 7 at the National SpeakOff Competition In Edmonton in my first year of Kin. I am currently a member of the National Awards and Recognition Committee.

I am excited to be your Governor again for this Kin year. My first time was during the pandemic when everything was shut down. You have a great team representing you on the district team. We have a combination of experience as well as first timers on the team. However, all are extremely talented, motivated and really looking forward to having a successful year. We have some significant goals we want to do this year and will need your help and support to accomplish said goals.

So on behalf of the 2024 – 2025 District Team, here is to having a fun and successful year.
