Liverpool Club History
The Kinsmen Club of Liverpool was chartered on November 7, 1945 by the Kinsmen Club of Halifax. When chartered, the Liverpool Club was the 131st club in the Kinsmen association. The Club was incorporated under a private Members Bill in 1947.
Our club has a long history of serving our community, celebrating our 75th anniversary in November, 2020.Our two primary fundraisers are our annual French Fry truck vendor participation in the Liverpool Privateer Days (selling the best French Fries in Eastern Canada), and our weekly Television Bingo “Kingo” broadcast Thursdays’ on Eastlink TV channel 10.
Since inception, The Liverpool Kinsmen Club has raised and expended close to 1 Million dollars, serving the ‘Community’s greatest need’ of the residents and surrounding area of Queens County, Nova Scotia, Canada.
